Vanaspatiyog vs. Hingulyog – What’s the Difference?

Both are forms of Lauh Bhasma, but differ in their processing medium. Vanaspatiyog uses herbal plant extracts for calcination, making it suitable for a broader range of conditions including anaemia and general weakness. Hingulyog uses Hingul (Cinnabar) and is more specifically indicated for liver, spleen, and jaundice conditions. Your physician will recommend the appropriate variant based on your condition.
